The Styx - Brave New World By Styx Album/music/cd Review

The STYX - Brave New World by Styx Album Review

The Brave New World Album by the STYX Band still has the band's classic style but with different styles of songs from the band. I expected STYX to come up with a better album than the band's previous hit albums, since the band recorded it after they got reunited. They disbanded and have rested for years after the split-up. This album may not be great but it is good.

The Brave New World - STYX Album
The STYX Brave New World album was released on June 29, 1999. This is the last album

recorded when Dennis DeYoung, the original STYX lead vocalist and keyboardist, rejoined the band. This album reached top 10 on Top Internet Albums chart and eventually peaked at #175 on Billboard 200.
This is the first album that the STYX band recorded since the memebers reunited from a split-up in 1990.

The Brave New World album by the STYX is a very brave attempt to change the classic style of the band which has been known by millions of people around the world.

STYX experimented on different styles of songs from ballads to reggae, jazz, rock and heavy rock, and they still did well. This album proves that STYX still has the charm in spite of Dennis DeYoung's illness and Tommy Shaw's disinterest to finish this album.

This STYX album contains weak songs that should have not been included in the album but most of the songs are nice. The Brave New World by STYX is a good album, but definitely not a great one. Though the songs are not what you expect to hear from the STYX, you will still end up loving most of the songs.
